Welcome to Happy Knitter!!

We are an independent wool shop located in the heart of the Wirral Peninsula in the Brimstage Court Yard, Brimstage, England.

Behind this website is me, Victoria, Ukrainian British knitter and my partner John (not very good at knitting, but very smart, friendly and helpful). He does cross stitching and gardening in his free time and he is a Star Wars expert.

Also, I cannot not to say a couple of words about our furry shop assistant Jeeves. He is a Westie, looks very cute but very independent and stubborn, friendly to customers, but can be grumpy with customers' dogs. (yes, we are dogs friendly)

What do we do in our shop?

- We sell wool, cotton, linen, alpaca and other natural yarns.

- Books with designers knitting and crocheting patterns

- Knitting and crocheting one to one lessons available at the shop

- If you have been knitting scarfs or blankets for many years and too scared to start a jumper, to do a tricky fair island colour work or a round yoke we can help you. You can get a full support from understanding a pattern to finishing your project off.

Few words about our future plans. I have an idea and you may like it (John is laughing now) to organise a local knit along events, to knit something interesting together, sharing our experience and joy. Feel free to use the Add comments  below if you have and suggestions.

I will start a Happy Knitter blog soon about projects on my needles  ( i have more than one!)

That is all for now.

Please, have a look at our products and welcome to our  little wool shop at Brimstage

With love

John and Victoria

We are open:
